No, I meant that WPL could buy some CVN shares just as a good-value passive investment..
They could ask themselves: which is the best way to spend, SAu, this $10 m? On drilling another wildcat well, doing a bit of a share buy-back or investing it in CVN because of its rock-bottom price, despit having good proven assets, good prospects, and good management.
It,s not such a crazy idea from a return-on-equity perspective.
Beach and Santos can do the same, if they wish!
