It was targeted at a US level where supposedly 80-85% of people could not stump up $1000 in an emergency scenario.
Douugh's APP was created to assist ppl to manage their money better, with a view to o financial wellness.
All the other crypto features that will be added, i think don't really go hand in hand with the APP idea, but are in the same sector so suppose they added them to gain other users, not just those looking to budget better.
