The kmz file below contains the planned locations of Auger Drill Holes at Irajuba, and also contains the tenement boundaries of the new Ayrton Senna Project. Those tenement applications have nominated Niobium as the exploration target.
Carbonatite sources of niobium are associated with eTh and Mag highs. Those are not present here.
Pegmatite sources (eg. at SUM) occur along Kperc lineaments. A group of granites having low K are north of GMN 872350/2023 and upstream of a highly rated Stream Sediment sample. This kmz contains the contours of that Kperc feature. An artisanal mining site can be seen within that feature.
The kmz also contains the locations of the Stream Sediment samples reported in Figure 3 (2 August 2024), and a trace of the watersheds in the area. Most of the Ayrton tenements are upstream of a sampling site. The planned stream sediment panning may provide the first visible confirmation of niobium at Irajuba.
For comprehension, the kmz is best viewed with some of the folders switched to "hidden" ( Google Earth URL ).
