Hi curiouswon. Of course the board and CEO are talking up the company and saying it is strong. That is their job. And of course Downer is solvent. If it wasn't the share price would be a lot lower than it is or even $0. But it is tough times and everyone needs to be very careful right now. The company is obviously in stress like so many other companies at the moment. That's why the board deferred the payment. They were being prudent.
