Who knows indeed. And that's the problem,we could speculate endlessly, but completely unhelpfully and inaccurately. I'll toss up a different scenario. Dr Atkins is a senior exec at Biosciences. It;s not unusual for senior exec resignations to be kept confidential until they actually come to the end date. If Dr Atkins has resigned from Biosciences then it would be appropriate to tell CYP that he won't be standing for re-election given Webse is busy preparing for an AGM, but he might not be allowed to tell the Company why.
