no you’re missing the wood for the trees - there is two ways to compulsory acquire shares. Market and scheme. If the scheme gets up they get your shares, otherwise if they hold 90% of the company they can force you to sell. Scheme is slightly cleaner for yum but they could get 90% negotiating with board and buying rest on market.
