I'm generally a bit slack in the paperwork department and panicked a bit when I found out about the Israel withholding tax bit yesterday via an email from Advanced Share Registry. The prospect of losing 25% of my investment into the coffers of the Israeli government didn't fill me with a great deal of joy.

So phoned Advanced Share Registry today and they were very good. According to them the only consequence of getting my paperwork in late is that I will be paid by cheque rather than a direct deposit which is fine by me. She confirmed that the cheque will be in full without any withholding tax deduction so it looks like a happy ending.
