I think past public records answer your questions as far as technical/management abilities go.
3 main directors were on board of KDL.
They were involved in a similar project to Lomero, but in Botswana.
They helped acquire the defunct Lerala diamond mine in Botswana.
They proposed and followed through on plans to recommission the mine, with regular shareholder updates.
This involved engaging expert consultants and engineers to rebuild the infrastructure and processing plant.
The budget was fairly modest for such a venture.
The mine entered production early in the year and is now being fine tuned.
A credible production efficiency for carats is being achieved.
One could argue about the financial arrangements and viability of Lerala, but the score is on the board as to the ambitions of these guys to go the full distance.
I have no hesitation in believing they want to be the Lomero mine owner and operator.
How things unfold, such as whether or not a new lense is found, is beyond anyone's foresight at this time.
