Starting to get excited here, it seems we are on the verge of a major break-out, with sellers getting exhausted and recent short-term traders getting soaked up nicely. We just need some strong consecutive market days and added news flow to get the party started. This week was horrible for the gold sector, and we held our gains which is very positive!!!
The gold price in AUD is still over $5000 too. it looks like it is going to stay in this $4900-$5200 channel for the time being IMO. Too much US debt and horrible geopolitical issues in the world, plus Trump constantly in crazy mode, giving gold price rise catalysts whenever he types or opens his mouth. I would not be surprised to see the next leg up in the coming months as they cut rates which they will be forced to do in order to keep the masses happy and compliant as cost-of-living issues escalate.
