So four 650m to 750m holes to be drilled, and if first hole commenced drilling on the 4-5th Nov and allowing for (what are we talking about here 150-300m of Cambrian/Mesozoic cover rocks?) so the timing of this sudden lurch upwards is a bit curious - thats ten days into the first drill hole which allowing for rotary/mud precollar or even diamond drilling through the cover to top of modelled target depth as being guessed at as anywhere from 150-300m of cover? All depends on the depth of cover.



That timing puts GRV at the progress stage of getting close to target depth or completion of the first drill hole by my reckoning. And allow a few days before the drill crew have to go into town to get some fuel/supplies or spare parts and importantly get into mobile reception range and this big increase in volume seems very co-incidental.  The big price movements I'm not too concerned about but the big jump in volume is going to attract some attention if it turns out the first drill hole has hit something recently.

This is high risk and high reward drilling so any rumours of a discovery could spread like wildfire. I will be bookmarking this post for when either the visuals are announced or the assays come back at some point in the future. Remember the core will be logged on-site but cut off-site so that's a big job transporting core to somewhere and then getting it cut and then sent to the lab.
