Amigo, I guess it will be sensitive IF the assays show the pyrite is binding to no-see-um gold. To some, the idea of invisible gold in pyrite is strange, but it's true. For example, for the southern Cross Mine in Montana it is reported: "In panning large samples, only one or two specks of gold could be seen, although the ore contained from 1 to 2 ounces per ton." Similarly at massive gold mine at Mount Morgan in QLD, it is reported for its fine gold in pyrites and gossan: "When the ore was dehydrated by roasting in reverberatory furnaces the extremely fine particles of gold were agglomerated, and between 80 and 90 per cent, could then be extracted by amalgamation, the remainder being presumably coated by oxides of iron.". So I like the sentences: "Diamond drill hole GSDD001 at Surprise Hill North intersected strong coarse-grained disseminated and stringer pyrite mineralisation (>5%) associated with pervasive chlorite-sericite alteration in a brecciated siltstone host rock from 80m"......"Weak to moderate fine grained disseminated pyrite mineralisation occurs throughout the entire hole to 495m." That sounds like a big system to me! And don't forget for Big Ben: "Disseminated pyrite mineralisation also occurs throughout the entire hole which was drilled to 204m. " And Big Ben and Surprise Hill North are about 800m apart - are they both part of a larger system? So if the assays of the drilling show the pyrite has gold, then this work could turn out to be very, very significant. But as we all know, most pyrites can be barren, unfortunately. So we have to keep our shirts on. Nevertheless, also in this announcement (plus previous ones by GRL for Gundagai), GRL has used the term "porphyry" quite a few times - eg on page 2 it states "Multiple porphyritic quartz-feldspar intrusive sills were intersected".... Those sentences tend to cause my pulse to jump a bit. I understand that porphyry can refer to intrusives that simply have large crytals, however when other geological terms are thrown in to the mix, it is quite exciting. We won't know until the assays are announced in Q2, but on today's announcement I raided the piggy bank and bought some more, again. The market cap is only $11 million, so I'm not waiting to buy bonus options at 20c. Good luck all.
