i spend most of my time assessing just what the price action is. Whether its due to shorting or any other factor is pretty irrelevant to me, the price is always the price, - its the trend that I watch.

Sentiment, - whether we like it or not, - is what rules. Many times I have seen a stock with fantastic fundamnentals just languish for long periods, simply because it was shunned with negative sentiment. At other times, stocks have powered on against weak fundamentals for the opposite reason.

So its sentiment watching and price action for me. The reasons are a side issue.
