I just had a look at the update for Bonnie East. I see on page 11 that the CID for Bonnie East is 12.6Mt @ 55% Fe. This gives a Calined Iron (CaFe) figure of 62.9%. The requirement for Asian mills, is that a fines product must have a CaFe figure of atleast 62% CaFe. The Fe figure is far less relevant to Asian mills for fines than the CaFe figure. So just as we are currently discussing whether BCI can sell down to 55% Fe for grades that have a LOI of 12.2% (Outcamp). Why couldn't we sell down to 55% Fe at Bonnie East with a LOI of 12.5%.

Also, BCI has noted that the tool wear has been far less than the industry norm at Outcamp. With a LOI of 12.5% at Bonnie East, it's going to be even less. The stuff would almost crumble in your hands ... well almost.
