Yes I agree with that. There should be an element of under-promise and over deliver. And then if results don't meet the market pitch with regard to tenor, then some solid explanation. So that is an issue between the punters and the company. Like I said before, at least they didn't raise on it.

As for the points of debate on the other thread, nothing in today's result nullifies them. The forward looking expectations were tempered and in line with the actual results (albeit the panned hole came in at about 50% tenor). There are follow up holes with plenty of upside potential.

But I don't mind the odd "troll" and "downramper". Usually I get accused of that, so I'm hardly going to begrudge others the opportunity.
