Very well said Invisiblekid.
I hold forty odd stocks, mainly in mining and oil. Eighty percent, or there abouts, are pretty worthless. I accept that and have written them off in my mind. My losses of course can be offset against my cap.gains.
Penny stocks that have risen and fallen over time I continue to keep...aren't worth selling. Some stocks came good after ten years. And I'm pleased that I continued to hold them through thick and thin.
A spec is a spec. Buying into those stocks one should be prepared to write them off at the time of purchase. If you can't do that, don't buy them in the first place.
Don't complain if things don't go your way.
