There are many reasons for gold to rise.... and certainly not suggesting that figure..... just saying if a gold standard were to be introduced it would have to have some bearing with known gold quantity and fiat currencies.

I am very bullish gold and believe DRE's upcoming drilling might have the answer to our woes.
Long term gold looks like staying well above US$2k oz
It's a very interesting time to be investing and there has never been a better time to be searching for gold.

Money is really only a metaphor for some prescribed value, I think physical gold will continue to go gangbusters in this nervous political world
