Legacy have high gold (and silver) indicators in their soil sampling over the region. IE: 30 - 60 cm of soil removed from surface by hand/small auger, and PXRFd on site, for further lab assay if interesting.
They drilled two deep holes, subsequent to the soil sampling and magnetic anomaly, awaiting assay.
They have not announced that they have hit gold/silver with those holes at this time and pointed out that previous drilling by Newmont found nothing. They are happy with the sort of system that the drilling has uncovered which they believe to be prospective.
