Jun 2020 qtr was bad due to downward revision on annual production: Gold and DCN prices divert and gap significantly.
Sept 2020 qtr was good: Gap between Gold and DCN prices narrowed.
Dec 2020 qtr was good: No more gap between Gold and DCN prices. DCN SP essentially tracked GP.
Mar 2021 qtr was bad: Gap started forming again. Question is how wide the gap is going to be?
My optimistic view: given that there had been the track record of two good earlier quarters, the gap will not as big as that following Jun 2020 qtr. Hence if GP moves up drastically, DCN SP will follow as well while still maintaining the gap.
Jun 2021 qtr ???
If good, 1) will the gap narrow or 2) there will be no more gap?
My optimistic view: there will no more gap and DCN SP will start tracking GP.
If bad, we are going to be in for lots of pain: most of us will leave this forum!

My optimistic view: it is a confirmation of DCN recovery and nothing drastic happen as DCN SP will continue to track GP.
If bad, I am lost!
