Great article from 2019 BTW. Have you read what Chris Ellison has said in more recent news about downstream. Why did he exit much of his downstream plans.
And to be precise with you, I'm NOT against downstream (how can I be if I own ALB and Livent now Arcadium). Did I not explain clearly enough why/when the advantage lies ... less volatility and higher quality predictable earnings over what miners get ... means less risk and higher multiple.
Anyway you do you. There is volumes of empirical evidence that contradicts you and your cherry picking defensive agenda.
