I would assume that we drilled through promising rocks to a depth of 321m. Altered rocks can either be metamorphosed rock or enriched with sulphides/quartz, alterations are encouraging and point to potential mineralisation.
It should be noted that these are early first pass drills that define future programs. Holes will be altered depending on real time visual cores, a good field technician or geologist will make calls on this and go further up to management with encouragement if it looks good. We have shear at hole 4 in aurora, which is exactly what we are after, not saying that gold can’t be found in above rocks it’s just the structural setting where gold is likely to be found and flow through in mineralising events.
