Birimian Gold is drilling for gold at Kondji in Mali, West Africa. Birimian Gold is drilling for gold at Kondji in Mali, West Africa.
Birimian Gold (ASX:BGS) has commenced drilling at Kondji, 3.5 kilometres from the recently discovered Ntiola deposit within its Massigui gold project in southern Mali.
The goal of this program is to define new gold resources amenable to processing at Randgold Resources (LON:RRS) nearby Morila gold mine and treatment plant, presenting an opportunity for early cash flow.
An initial 1,000 metres reverse circulation drilling, along with reconnaissance auger drilling and multi-element sampling campaigns comprise the current work program.
Target generation studies undertaken by Birimian Gold have defined multiple new prospects within Massigui, most of which have never been drill tested.
