The Anglo JV has never been executed and that is clearly the case if people read the announcements from last year.
Today it is confirmed with the statement "JV with anglogold that is currently under discussion". The last mention by the previous management was on the 06/09/17 when they stated "final documentation for the Anglogold earn-in agreement is expected to be completed by the end of September"
It looks to me (and I may be wrong) that the new management of OGX have come in as the agreeement was to be finalised and have decided to re-negotiate. While the discussions are on-going they are advancing with DD at Antena/xupe using cash from Cascaval.
Anglo where happy to increase their holdings as the previous management ran the company into the ground so no-doubt they still see the potential.
