Any announcement that isn't an impairment or profit warning is ok by me.
Perhaps they are overcompensating since PC did such a pathetic job of communicating operational guidance to SH.
Keeping SH in the loop is better than the treat them like mushrooms alternative.

@cashedupbogan had a look through all the figures for CGO and MGO going back 10 quarters.
While Tucka's processing costs were higher than Bluebirds, and had been rising faster, I don't think that was the primary reason for their change in reporting method. Tucka and Bluebird per ton processing costs were within 10c of each other in the quarter before the reporting method changed.
Personally I think it was more about hiding the continued underperformance of Big Bell.
They spent an absolute shit ton more CAPEX on BB than they had forecasted, and it really hadn't ramped up to any true scale until the end of FY22.
If you look over the rhetoric regarding BB in several of the quarterly reports, PC was literally blowing smoke up the SH arses for 8 straight quarters.
