I have been looking for pegs across the West Townsville geology map, but the rocks are younger than Gascoyne and Karratha region of the West.
But as Black Cat says - this Li business is too new to stick to hard and fast rules.

BTW, if there are fertile Li pegs on MacCk tenement it is served by road and rail, and close to Townsville where they are building a Li Ion Battery plant. (if that project is still alive !!) Could the stars align?

Here are some snips of interesting rocks which I reckon deserve a bo-peep.

First snip is in a granite described as Cgcr (means Carboniferous granite of Coane Range) - a bit young perhaps, but what if they were pegs and contained tin or niobium. The LTC pegmatites do not occur in the intruding granite.
This area is in the north of the ICG tenement, just SE of Moss Mine.




Second snip is of possible pegs in the ultramafic Unit Pr - described as (Neoproterozic Running River) sequence - and that is old enough to match up with Li pegs in the West. - It is pretty clear that the Cgcr granite has intruded the Pr sequence.

I'm no geo, so this is just me making deductions !!! Lol. Train wreck.
