Apperently there is well over 10,000 signatures on a petition sent to the NSW Government to stop the intended mining around the Clarence River area it has some of the most pristine water ways in Australia, with so many against any mining within the area's close to the Clarence those who have signed the petition have been asked to send emails to the powers to be all throughout the months of June an July as there is a hearing set down by the NSW Government for August to hear those objections.

One thing that must be remembered is Mt Gilmore's position in reference to the Clarence River given the terrain many mining companies will be pushing sheet uphill to get anything up an running and those who are opposing any mining will fight tooth and nail to keep their River and surrounding area's in Pristine condition.

Exploration is one thing building Mines in area's with so many against any mining is a completely kettle of fish, but hey pretty sure those who signed the petition would welcome a new muffin an coffee shop in the area instead maybe Corazon may well build one to keep them happy.
