Thx Gharp...its the original 'market trading'...watch the tape, consider pyschology etc etc, learn to trade rationally not emotionally...understand crowd mentality etc etc...i guesses right..first published 1923...guessing most stocks were 'speculative' back then !

And yeah re more recent books...mkt wizards etc etc...dont really teach you much...except several git VERY lucky timing wise etc !

and the reference was because of the comment about people saying long term investors but freaking over a few cents per share move etc...but thx

Reminisciences of a Stock operator....my bosses got every newbie to trading mkst to read it...like 30 years ago. Not ttoally releavent as mkts have changed...but the pyschology/trading mentality..remove emotion and trade rationally etc bit still make sense..massively.
