Very similar perspectives with the CGT benefits - certainly a positive I am keen for, while I likely won't sell much at that point, mentally it feels great to have that 12 months behind you without the major looming tax.
Can't blame you with that strategy - you may be gifted some shares down there which could have +50-70% on them come April/May. GL!
