Not quite, but close. That scenario which you mentioned happened in the notorious WMC vs Savage Resources.
ARV did the exploration, and I would be surprised if ARV didn't know of lithium, given the overlap of a lot of data points.
- soil samples indicating lithium, kept in the bottom drawer
- electro anomalies correlating to lithium soil samples
- historically known region for spodumene
- did they visually see the giant pegs protruding from the ground during soil samples testing as the repeatedly traipsed accross the lease? Maybe it was the work experience kid doing the sampling?
E47/3487 in particular had an interesting ownership structure under ARV.
