While Tim Goyder’s personal investments are high profile and well documented, it’s a different story for Stuart Tonkin. I can see a few small holdings here and there from Gladstone Mining, however his 9% in WTM looks to be his only significant holding % wise outside of Northern Star. Happy to be corrected here. This plus Stuart’s specific gold expertise and his increased stake ahead of Spur gold drilling, has me more excited than Tim’s shareholding.
Based on the presentation only a few weeks ago, initial diamond hole assays were expected mid-late March. Therefore I expect we should get some results this week. Given the initial holes are into known mineralised zones interpreted to be already in an inner “red-rock” porphyry halo, I am expecting some encouraging intervals, unless in the unlikely case they have their orientations wrong. The first holes are essentially twinning existing holes with a modest step out and decent depth extension in the direction of the IP anomalies.
