Got hold of a detailed 1972 paper on the Carr Boyd Mine.
The conclusion was the mineralised pipes were late stage structure controlled breccias confined to a specific unit of the layered complex.
ESR discovery is in a lower unit of the layered complex where no significant mineralisation has been previously found.
What's the relationship? If much at all?
(Noting the 'model' deposit will have been chopped up by faulting and truncated by 4.5 billion years of erosion)
