I really dont think there will be a coup in Thailand but if there was I cant imagine what will happen to KCN share price...down 50% or more in one day probably...if there was a coup then it is almost guarenteed the mine will shut down for the forseeable future as the licences would go on the back burner for at least 1 year....this is an unlikely scenario but it is definitely there.
KCN would have to be a prime target for Oxiana. Oxiana are exploring all around the KCN site and seem keen to have a mine in Thailand but probably realise they will have a lot of problems getting the licences. What better way to solve this than buy a mine that has good resources in an area they are exploring in and already has the licences.
This post isnt intended to be negative or positive but is just idle chit chat about this stock...
