The nature of mineral exploration is that what you see (and sample) at surface may not reflect in any way what could exist below the surface. Yes it could be more of the 'the same', but more than likely it will not.
This is because of the affect of erosion and weathering over the millennia changes what shows at surface, and quite dramatically so. Sometimes what shows at surface can be upgraded by the effect of weathering, sometimes it is downgraded, and sometimes it just makes it all look very messy.
A drill hole or two underneath is the only truth detector.
Also, some of the geophysics targets are actually underneath the surface. Not at the surface. This was evident in the presentation showing the planned Alacran drill holes.
You should know that that even a very good geologist cannot guarantee what is underneath the surface. Outcomes from this point are just down to mother nature, and a bit of luck. Mineral deposits are common. Orebodies are rare.
Roads and proximity? Not a factor.
First assays..? Must be close ... (patience!).
