No worries mate - In some ways I sympathize with you in others we have different viewpoints.
Before I bought a Hilux for new exploration activities being out of the market for some time I did some research. My favourite was Prado which I hire all the time on various trips like in Alice Springs the other day. But having had a few Hilux I liked them too. In doing my research given the number of problems people reported on Prados I opted for a Hilux which you reckon is a heap of rubbish anyway. Who knows -like you I don't really care anymore - as long as they let me keep my licence a few more years until my 90th. Meanwhile just have fun and I won't be buying an EV.
