I live in NZ, I can say that i would not like to own a mining company trying to operate under the current government here, that is for sure. They are not only anti-mining, they are largely seen as anti-business in general.
They have done little to assist over COVID, the tourism industry here has essentially collapsed, and foreign investment is running as fast as it can out the door.
There is talk of a wealth tax here and a strong hatred for anyone that has been smart enough to "get ahead".
If I were a miner in NZ, I would be sticking those nuggets under my pillow, or better yet, putting them back into the ground to "discover" after the 2022 elections.
I live in NZ, I can say that i would not like to own a mining...
