Thanks Rocks. Understood. My question was how much preliminary work (and over what time period) Ramelius spent, before convincing itself that the modest near surface resource it had identified at Wattle Dam was considered worth mining. The decision to mine was made in ignorance of the existence of the much more valuable gold which lay unknown to them at greater depths.
