A little fly over and orientation session for any interested? H8tey
Recent drilling is enabling junior to arrive at ore reserve calculation Reverse-circulation (RC) holes drilled by KWG Resources (KWG-T) on the Gaspar concession in central Cuba show impressive gold widths and grades.
PDH-001 & 001A: Section C-C - from surface
Hole 271 averaged 40.29 grams gold per tonne from surface to 41 metres, including 68.26 grams gold for the first 24 metres. Other holes testing this structure on the same section include hole RC-90, which intersected 8.33 grams gold over 22 metres.
PDH-005 & 006: Possibly Section D-D - from surface
On the next section, 20 metres to the north of hole RC-94, results averaged 3.02 grams over 60 metres. New hole 267 averaged 2.78 grams over 19 metres, and hole 268 averaged 2.08 grams over 27 metres, all on the same structure.
From the 3D angle above you cab see how the oxide cap ore body dips
Only 2 gold results reported, along with 5 copper results out of 7, so 2 remaining.. Plenty to come on this story yet as it unfolds.
Note PDH-003A reported copper down to 274m & 004A was open at depth of 184m
PDH-001 from 0 to 32m (Gold & Copper)
PDH-001A from 0 to 50m (Gold) with (Copper) to 99m
PDH-002 from 45m (Copper only Gold pending)
PDH-003A from 43m (Copper only Gold pending)
PDH-004A from 49m (Copper only Gold Pending) Note Hole #3 PDH-003A was mis labelled and should be hole 004A
Which gave a nice continuous run of 14m+ at an av grade of 5.21% with a max grade of 21.97% over 1.5m at 74.5m depth.
And this is how the whole Prospect looks from above with what is assumed to be the Gaspar anomaly to the right.
Northwest-To-southeast trend along which all the known mineralization to date has been found; and crosscutting mineralized faults, apparently hosting hydrothermal breccias. Where these two structures intersect, economic concentrations of gold mineralization may be encountered. Thus far, five such intersections have been identified over a 2-km strike length.
El Pilar, Gaspar, and San Nicholas are individual porphyry intrusions and indicate the potential for
multiple porphyry copper-gold discoveries.
▪ All three deposits have undergone shallow drilling confirming the existence of copper-gold mineralization
in weathered saprolite near surface.
▪ The surficial hydrothermal alteration evident at El Pilar represents a classic porphyry phyllic cap and the
dimensions of the phyllic alteration (upper part of in-situ porphyry systems) indicate the porphyry intrusion has large dimensions and a depth greater than 1,000m.
▪ The in-situ copper-gold sulphide mineralization of the target potassic porphyry core is interpreted to be immediately below the surficial phyllic caps and remains untested with deeper drilling.
