Just about the only balanced posts here, yes the vein system is consistent, and predicatble but narrow, this is all about the core recovery, and now with HQ triple tube drilling they aren't losing the sample when in the fractured and broken vein/orebody itself (where all the gold is).
Skinny but high grade, open in all directions, better drilling methods in use, vein system reasonably predictable - this is actually good news and its early days yet.
Some of the other posters worrying about ground conditions and whether its open pit or underground are getting way ahead of themselves, the vein system is still open in all directions - time to calm down and wait for the remaining diamond core holes to give their geologists a better picture of grade and size. Sure its skinny at the moment but the grades are pretty decent.
