Vein intersected over 600m length and to depth of ~100m. Open in all directions. Vein width between 1.22m and 2.63m. So relatively narrow but may be zones where it bellows out, in-fill drilling will determine this.

Of the 7 holes drilled and assayed (LPDD01 to LPDD07) all intersected the vein where it was interpreted to be but only 3 had sufficient recovery to properly assess grade. Grade is high but variable, a bit early to say what it will average, but looks to me like it will average +10 g/t. LPDD08 not yet assayed.

An excellent start IMO. Vein systems have habit of presenting with parallel bodies. Suspect this is only the start of the story at Lone Pine.

Just about the only balanced posts here, yes the vein system is consistent, and predicatble but narrow, this is all about the core recovery, and now with HQ triple tube drilling they aren't losing the sample when in the fractured and broken vein/orebody itself (where all the gold is).

Skinny but high grade, open in all directions, better drilling methods in use, vein system reasonably predictable - this is actually good news and its early days yet.

Some of the other posters worrying about ground conditions and whether its open pit or underground are getting way ahead of themselves, the vein system is still open in all directions - time to calm down and wait for the remaining diamond core holes to give their geologists a better picture of grade and size. Sure its skinny at the moment but the grades are pretty decent.
