because nobody knows if that monster that was lurking yesterday is still hanging around. Or if it's got it's fill. Or is satisfied with the chaos it caused. or if its attention is on other stocks today.
As confidence that it has gone away builds, so will momentum in the share price. This is always the problem with a oversell. hence why the price action rarely moves in a straight line on the graph. always zig zagging. It's telling a story of fear and growth.
It's a waiting game, really. If you'd like to keep busy: perhaps you could do a monster-appeasement dance on behalf of all shareholders? Or maybe sacrifice a lamb if you have one? Aside from gently and sensibly testing the share price waters, in the current context of an impending CR, it's the best thing we can do.
