yes, 78m from surface is one of the largest intercepts I have seen.
What VSR have going for them is the alumina-rich kaolin that is present, and crucially that they have identified halloysite. It is a testament to them for doing SEM analysis and proving that the halloysite nanotubes are in there - they are clearly technically very savvy as halloysite is a key component within true Chinese ionic adsorption deposits (IADs).
I'm also very encouraged that they are doing metallurgy straight away - that is what attracted me to the story. Straight to the point and they won't continue to drill the clay system until this work is complete. Plus doing upfront size by assay analyses to determine where the REEs are shows they really know what they are doing.
This is essentially a master-class as to how one should develop a REE clay project. Lets hope the metallurgy is favourable.
