All the taken over gold explorers I have been in before have ended up being taken over by other companies in exchange for script , rather than the tenements getting sold for cash , so I have ended up with shares in the new company , can not recall any cash payments on top of that . the takeover companies overall ended up going on to do well they are PRU SLR and RMS
Suspect the same scenario is likely to happen here if a company like Genesis sees value here , as CAV really does not have anything of value apart from McTavish , and the tax losses on a company buy out basis also have value for a producer which would not be claimable for just a tenement sale .
Shareholders got ripped off in two takeovers I was a part of Universal coal and FND a copper miner ,
