It’s easy to forget about our Stavely-Stawell ground right next to the Stawell Gold Mine with all the happenings at Spur. I located this linked December presentation of the project at a conference in Victoria. It is quite detailed and was not released on the ASX. I continue to add to my position here and await the many holes we are waiting on.
I agree that there are indications of multiple porphyry targets emerging. There are at least two - with the skarn east of Spur that dips east and the moly to the north west of Dalcoath. Then we have the lithocap directly under Spur.
With upcoming assays due shortly I am particularly keen to see what may have been hit laterally underneath SPRC002 in holes 31 and 32. 002 hit a 100 gramer plus copper. 34 and 35 will be in the next batch too. They are probing that mag low east of Spur where the skarn is plunging over to the shoulder of one of those IP anomalies. There is also a poorly defined gold lode over there parallel to Spur called Thistle. I am hungry for the multi element on 34 and 35 too given the porphyry potential.
Given the 1km+ size, fertility and spread of holes outstanding I don’t think we are far off another 100+ gram x metre hit. I expect we will commence diamond drilling within the first quarter subject to favourable assays pending.
