I think it is someone cashing in a large chunk of shares before Christmas. Gold is up a little, not down and there's no movement upwards on VMC infact it's down so that rules out any potential litigation news. Don't forget a lot of shares have been freed from Escrow today as per the announcement on 28 November.
I'm sure it is just those guys realising a bit of cash.
