east west, agreed. More interesting about this announcement, i think, is why was it announced on a Friday at this time of the year? For me, and for many reasons, this was an announcement that many firms would NOT have made. And without wanting to sound flippant or silly it was an announcement that didn't have to be made, it could have very easily been incorporated into the quarterly in the next week to two weeks.
It's not announcement that was ever going to light up the market, so why not put it in the quarterly and why on a Friday?
Without wanting to extrapolate this too much, and perhaps anchoring on why i am a holder; its about credibility / accountability and consistency from management and bodes very well for the future. Personally the future of AIC is 100% about building management credibility, not hiding, being consistent in reporting and is all about Eloise / Jericho and most importantly about the funding being secured on appropriate terms later this quarter. Weirdly or perhaps very cleverly i think this announcement is a small but consistent part of this.
