Maybe the market is wowed by the scoping study, driving up the share price quickly too. So we would get an uplift without a predator arriving on the scene.

But even if the scoping study is a good one, I now have serious doubts about the inclination/capacity of the board to move things forward quickly from that point.

It’s as if they don’t realise that investors have alternative companies in which to put their money. There is an opportunity cost to being patient with GBR. In fact, it’s a cost that has already been borne by a lot of us.

I’m going to hang around for the scoping study. But if a bid doesn’t then come in, or if we then get news of another capital raise primarily to explore more of Sidewell, that’ll be long enough of a wait for me.

No doubt about it, the opportunity cost has been huge. It’s held back some big money going into a raging gold market for several years now.

I’ve seen it before with several other companies in the past, great resources but just drill drill drill and go nowhere and generally all run by geologists.
