Yes that would be my guess EW101 ( wasn’t that a teleseries?) I noticed this at starlight and White light as well. I’d guess cross faulting creating weak stress points to buckle concurrently or at a later time.
Maybe the MGV geo’s are using this signature to determine size of the faulting. My understanding is that this gold is recrystallised sediments in folded laminates .explains the high grade.
