The majority of people are tribal in nature, it’s probably genetic. Safety in numbers. Those of us who are not ( contrarians) tend to far outperform the flock in investing. The reason being we are not always fighting our natural instincts imo. The flock will eventually stampede to this side of the paddock but unfortunately nobody knows when.
