Good point if you are referring to straddle hedging , although this will likely be high margin so would it be wise to hedge forward production if profitability is likely to still occur at lower prices for gold , and as everyone keeps stating on here , gold is likely to keep going up so by basic hedging you have lost any upside by hedging .
