I hope SPR's management takes note of today's sell-off and turns their attention to more value accretive activities like rapidly advancing this asset to production and capitalising on the current record gold price. Drilling deep wildcat holes for gold mineralisation that won't be mined for decades is not only expensive and time consuming but a waste a shareholders money at this stage of the company's return to grace. If they are trying to dress up this company to flog it off so they can live happily ever after with their vested performance rights and royalties, perhaps they should come clean with shareholders rather than prancing around the market promoting fluff about how fantastic everything is. All this is doing is attracting short term traders and negative market commentary.
