Well that is the risk of exploration drilling.
Speculating using experience is fine.
However, anyone saying they have definitive knowledge, of what is beneath their feet, on ground that is yet to be drilled, must be driving a highly modified, second hand Delorian, that they purchased from a mad professor, or have recently holidayed in Galifrey, and stole a third Tardis.(BBC have dibs on the first 2)
